Welcome to Collaborative Monster Drawing

This is a shared drawing experiment: one person draws a head, another the torso, another the legs—without seeing the others’ parts until the end.

Before You Begin

  • Best for 3–8 people
  • Sit around a table so it’s easy to pass papers
  • Keep the mood light and silly

Flow of the Game

1. Fold and Start (10 minutes)

  • Fold each paper into three or four sections (head, torso, legs, feet)
  • One person draws the head in the top section, then folds it backward so it’s hidden and passes the paper on

2. Add Sections (20–30 minutes)

  • Each person adds the next section based only on small guide marks at the edges
  • Keep passing and drawing until all sections are filled

3. Reveal (10–15 minutes)

  • Unfold each paper and reveal the full monsters one by one
  • Hold them up and enjoy the surprises

Variations & Ideas

  • Creature bios: Write a short description or “origin story” for each monster.
  • Theme monsters: Monsters from specific places (city, forest, space).
  • Color round: Add color in a second pass.
